SUMMARY:Congenital Limb Deficiencies & Deformities Course
DESCRIPTION:This course will present comprehensive exposure to assessment\, planning\, surgery\, and rehabilitation of patients with Congenital Femoral Deficiency (CFD)\, Congenital Pseudarthrosis of the Tibia (CPT)\, Fibular and Tibial Hemimelia\, Congenital Pterygium Knee\, Radial Club Hand\, and Congenital Dislocation of the Patella. \nThe days are structured with morning lectures followed by a short pre-op case introduction to the surgery that will be livestreamed from the Paley Orthopedic & Spine Institute’s operating room. Participants will be able to watch such procedures as SUPERhip\, SUPERknee\, SUPERankle\, SHORDT\, X-UNION\, and Ulnarization\, and to pose questions in real time to the surgeon. \nDedicated time has been set aside for participant case presentations; this interactive session provides attendees with valuable feedback from both the course faculty and audience.

SUMMARY:Essentials of Lower Extremity Reconstruction (ELER) 2027
DESCRIPTION:The ELER course was co-developed by limb deformity surgeons of the Limb Lengthening and Reconstruction Society: ASAMI-North America (LLRS) and deformity surgeons who organize and run the annual Baltimore Limb Deformity Course. It is a two-day course with a combination of lectures and hands-on skills training. The purpose of this course is to teach residents and fellows the fundamentals of circular external fixation. This includes basic biomechanical principles\, safe wire and pin placements\, and appropriate osteotomy techniques.
